Renault is preparing a very sporting premiere in Paris: the French are re-working on Mégane RS and will present the new Trophy version. Instead of 280 hp. and 390 Nm. The 1.8-liter 4-cylinder turbocharger will generate 300 hp. and 420 Nm. Increased power is achieved through modifications on the turbocharger and the exhaust system. As of now, customers will be able to choose between a two-clutch transmission and a classic manual gearbox. Additionally, the Megane's top modification will receive a chassis Cup with a stiffer suspension and sporty differential, Bridgestone semi-spokes, and special 19-inch wheels and Recaro seats with alcantara. The new version is expected to cost a few leva more than the standard RS.
